Getting started
This guide will help you get started with Tezlink Shadownet in a few steps.
1. Set up a wallet
To interact with Tezlink Shadownet, you need a compatible wallet. Check the Wallet support page for the current compatibility status, setup instructions, and to choose a wallet that fits your needs.
2. Get testnet tez
Tezlink Shadownet uses tez as its native token. You can get free testnet tez from the faucet:
- Copy your wallet address
- Go to the Tezlink Shadownet Faucet
- Paste your address and request tokens
The tokens should arrive in your wallet within a few seconds.
3. Try the playground
Once you have testnet tez, you can experiment with Tezlink using the Taquito Playground.
The playground allows you to:
- Connect your wallet to a dApp
- Interact with smart contracts
- Test transactions on Tezlink Shadownet
Some wallets have limited dApp connectivity on Tezlink Shadownet. If you experience issues connecting your wallet to the playground, check the Wallet support page for the current compatibility status.
