Wallet support
This page provides an overview of wallet compatibility with Tezlink Shadownet, including the current status and known limitations.
Beacon
Beacon is a library that enables communication between Tezos dApps and wallets. It allows users to connect their wallets to decentralized applications securely.
Tezlink uses Beacon for wallet-dApp interactions. However, since Tezlink is a new network, some wallets may require updates to their Beacon configuration to fully support Tezlink.
Beacon version 5.0.0 added Tezlink Shadownet as a default network. For this reason, we recommend dApp developers and wallet providers to use Beacon version 5.0.0 or higher.
Due to Beacon network configuration changes, some wallets have limited dApp connectivity on Tezlink. Simple transfers work across all wallets, but dApp interactions may be affected depending on the wallet. This transition period is expected to be relatively short.
